Listen, discover, and explore Dahshur Pyramids. Dahshur has The second and the third Pyramids in Egypt and the first true Pyramid or the Red Pyramid. King Sneferu, the founder of the fourth dynasty and the father of king Khufu built two Pyramids in Dahshur. The first one is known as the Bent Pyramid or the southern one. Its height about 101 meters and it has a subsidiary Pyramid that was discovered in 1947. The second Pyramid is known as the Red Pyramid and it is considered the first, perfect Pyramid in history and the third-largest in Egypt. You have to climb 125 steps to reach the entrance of the Red Pyramid which is 105 meters high and it took almost 11 years to build it.

Memphis was the capital of the first Nome of Lower Egypt and its name is derived from a word called Men Nefr means the white fortress or white walls. Memphis was the first capital of united Egypt and it was founded by king Menes or Narmer. The city was King’s residence and the political-administrative center AROUND 3200 BC.

Memphis one day had the temple of Ptah, his wife Sekhmet, and their son Nefertem. Unfortunately, almost everything from the oldest capital disappeared but you can still admire the enormous statue of Ramesses II in the open Museum, there are also the biggest movable statue-like Sphinx made out of marble and some sarcophaguses and steles.

From Memphis, you will be transferred to Saqqara, the cemetery of Memphis. You will visit with your guide the pyramid of Djoser. It is known also as the Saqqara pyramid or step Pyramid. The site is one of the most important archaeological sites and it is the first Pyramid in Egypt and the first stone structure in history. Listen to your guide on how Djoser's vizier, Imhotep developed the tombs from Mastaba to Pyramid. You will visit the House of the South Court and House of the North Court, the Serdab, the Heb-Sed court, and the southern tomb.

Now for the first time after 14 years of restoration, the step pyramid was reopened on the 5th of March 2020 and you can visit the Pyramid from the inside (against charge).

Mastaba of Mereruka (Against charge)

One of the best noble tombs in Saqqara for the minister and the vizier of the last king of the 6th dynasty. The tomb is one of the biggest tombs in Egypt with 31 rooms for Mereruka, his wife, and his son. A perfect example for the daily life scenes tombs with beautiful colors still very well preserved. Enjoy the harvest scenes, Hunting, collecting taxes, parties, and music with amazing fishing scenes.
